Dr. Vikas Khullar now providing gastroenterology care at the Prevea Grand Chute Health Center

GRAND CHUTE, Wis. – Prevea Health is pleased to announce Dr. Vikas Khullar, a fellowship-trained gastroenterologist, is now offering patient care at the Prevea Grand Chute Health Center, 3750 N. Investors Court in Grand Chute. He performs outpatient procedures at the Prevea Surgery Center, HSHS St. Vincent Hospital and HSHS St. Mary’s Hospital Medical Center in Green Bay.
Dr. Khullar specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of digestive health conditions, including endoscopic evaluations, and offers procedures including colonoscopy, upper endoscopy and capsule endoscopy. He also provides BRAVO and pH evaluation for assessing acid reflux. Additionally, he diagnoses and treats a range of digestive and liver conditions, including gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD); Barrett’s esophagus; Crohn’s disease; ulcerative colitis; diarrhea; constipation; irritable bowel syndrome (IBS); inflammatory bowel disease (IBD); bile duct disorders; pancreatic disorders and liver disease.
“My philosophy of patient care is that we are a team, and we need to have a patient centered approach,” says Dr. Khullar. “As a physician, I educate my patients on the disease process and discuss the possible options for treatment. For my Fox Valley patients who need procedural care, we have state-of-the-art facilities in Green Bay that I have access to at Prevea and our hospital partners at HSHS - which is a just a short drive away from the Valley for most of my patients.”
Dr. Khullar earned his medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada and completed residency in internal medicine at the University of Florida, Gainesville. He also completed a fellowship in gastroenterology at the University of Florida, Gainesville and is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.
