How to start a virtual care visit
Start your virtual care visit by clicking here and logging on to your MyPrevea account. If you do not have a MyPrevea account, setting one up is easy. Simply click on the Sign up now button on the log-on page and follow the instructions. If you do not have a MyChart activation code, click on the button Sign up online and complete the activation process.
- Log in to MyPrevea
- Click on the Menu icon in the upper left corner.
- Click on Prevea Virtual Care under the Find Care dropdown on the left.
- Click on the Prevea Virtual Care box to start your visit.
Quality care
$35 online visits
Online visits are $35, similar to an insurance co-pay. Credit cards, debit cards and health savings account (HSA) cards are accepted.

Frequently asked questions
This visit is asynchronous, which means that you will complete an online questionnaire, which take about 5-15 minutes to complete. Your answers are submitted to a Prevea provider for review. A provider reviews your responses and creates a treatment plan, which may include a prescription if necessary. You will be notified when the results are available, usually within 1 hour during office hours. If you cannot be treated online, you will not be charged for the visit.
Prevea offers video visits with select medical providers. To learn more about scheduled video visit appointments, please contact your health care provider’s office.
You can be diagnosed and treated for a variety of common conditions through Prevea Virtual Care.
- Eye and mouth problems
- Canker sore. Open sores inside the mouth that are often painful.
- Cold sore or fever blister. Sores around the mouth with some burning and tingling before sores appear.
- Cracks on the corner of the lips. Dry, red or cracked skin in one or both corners of the mouth.
- Impetigo. Red sores on the face that mainly affects infants and children.
- Pink eye (conjunctivitis). Redness, irritation or drainage of the eyes.
- Preventing cold sores. Medication to prevent cols sore for people with previous diagnosis.
- Stye (bump or bumps on the eyelid). A painful bump on the inside or outside edge of the eyelid.
- Injuries and pain
- Low back pain. Pain in the lower back areas that started within the past 12 weeks.
- Insect bites
- Insect bites. Evaluation and treatment of insect bites.
- Tick bite. Treat or prevent Lyme disease (a disease that can cause a bulls-eye shaped rash, fever, aches and fatigue in the days or weeks following a tick bite) and evaluate other tick bites.
- Respiratory infections and allergies
- COVID-19 (coronavirus) visit. Evaluation of COVID-19
- Cold, sinus infection or influenza (flu). Stuffy or runny nose, cough, sore throat, headache, fever, muscle aches.
- Seasonal allergies. Stuffy or runny nose, sneezing, eye redness or itchiness of the eyes, ears, nose or throat caused by allergies.
- Skin and nail problems
- Athlete’s foot. Burning rash with cracked skin, blisters or crusts on feet.
- Burns (minor). Painful redness or blisters after sun exposure or contact with something hot.
- Diaper rash. Red rash on the skin in the diaper area.
- Eczema. Itchy rash of the skin with a red, scaly or crusty appearance not caused by direct contact with an irritant.
- Jock itch. Red, itchy, ring-shaped or circular rash on or near the genitals.
- Nail condition. Pain, redness and swelling around the nail or cuticle.
- Ringworm (fungal skin infection). Red, itchy, circular rash or discolored patches anywhere on the body.
- Rosacea. Skin condition that includes redness, flushing, red lines or patterns or small, red bumps on the face.
- Shingles. Painful red blisters or crusts usually located on the side of the body.
- Skin irritation (contact dermatitis). Itchy, red rash caused by contact with an irritant such as poison ivy, other plants or chemicals.
- Unknown or other skin condition. Symptoms affecting the skin or nails
- Stomach problems
- Heartburn or acid reflux (GERD – Gastroesophageal reflux disease). Burning pain between the stomach and throat often leaving a bitter taste in the mouth.
- Women’s health
- Female bladder infection (urinary tract infection). Pain, burning or feeling of having to urinate more often.
- Vaginal yeast infection. Itchiness, burning and redness with thick, white discharge in the vaginal

If you are a Prevea Health patient, your visit records will be saved as part of your medical record. If you want to share your records with a physician outside of Prevea Health, you can print or email your records. Or call (920) 770-2866 to have us send a copy of your Prevea Virtual Care records to your provider.
