“
I spent my entire childhood in Northeast Wisconsin, so I consider it a great privilege to be able to come home and serve my community.
I believe in providing high-quality, evidenced based care with compassion and clear communication for my patients and their families during their most difficult times. My goal is to coordinate treatment plans among the many health care professionals taking care of each patient. I also believe in the importance of difficult conversations when a patient is critically ill so families can choose the right treatment for their loved one.
My general surgery training in North Dakota taught me broad-based general surgery and exposed me to the unique challenges that rural trauma systems face. During my fellowship I had the opportunity to take care of some of the most critically injured patients at a busy trauma center, which helped me become a confident and skilled trauma surgeon."
