Spending time as a CNA prior to medical school helped me connect with patients in a way that is so special. We all need extra compassion and assistance at the beginning and end of our lives. Being able to provide hands on care has helped me approach medicine by caring for all life with dignity. I believe each patient's goals should be at the center of their care. It is my task to guide my patients through their options and build a health care plan that is best for them. Every person comes to an office visit with their own set of experiences. I want my patients to be able to share their stories and know that I will listen with an open mind. From there we can collaborate to keep them as healthy as possible."
