Having worked as a traveling health care professional, I’ve had the opportunity to care for patients from all backgrounds and health care needs in hospitals, clinics and skilled nursing facilities. My experiences have provided a strong foundation for clinical decision-making skills and adapting care plans to best meet each patient’s needs. I gained a broad understanding of health care in many different settings which deepened my understanding of the patient experience across the continuum of care. I strive to get to know each patient to understand what motivates them and what they value. Taking a collaborative approach, I make sure the patient feels understood and their therapy goals are being addressed. I believe therapy should be an empowering experience with the goal of helping patients manage their condition so they can get back to doing the things they love."
