Accepting new patients

Have you seen this provider in the last three years?

The patients I’ve cared for over the years have shaped my career. I’ve found myself caring for patients with increasingly complex chronic diseases, mental health issues and substance use disorders. I developed expertise in caring for this group of people and really enjoy getting to know each of them and helping empower them to live happier lives. I believe strongly that people can be inspired to take charge of their medical issues and live healthier lives. It is important that I get to know my patients as individuals and not just as diseases or problems. I believe in whole person medicine, doing everything I can for each patient within the office visit. I am direct and honest with my patients and expect them to be the same with me. I enjoy educating patients and using motivational interviewing to help them improve. I value honest conversations and tend to have an informal style with my patients. I also almost always work with resident physicians so my patients can expect to also work with learners when you see me in clinic."
