Have you seen this provider in the last three years?

As a dual fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon, I specialize in disorders of the foot and ankle as well as sports medicine injuries of the knee. I have specialized training and technical expertise in the areas of advanced arthroscopic and minimally invasive techniques to treat a wide variety of lower extremity injuries, deformities and dysfunction. I love surgery and it’s why I became a surgeon. But I understand surgery is not the right answer for every problem. I want my patients to know I will work with them to lay out all their options, both non-operative and operative, so that they gain an understanding of the risks and benefits. We then will determine the best solution for their individualized care to help get them back to the activities that are most important to them. As a native of Florida, I completed my undergraduate work and medical school at the University of Miami. While in medical school, my mentors inspired me to pursue a career in orthopedic surgery which led to moving to the Midwest to further my expertise with a residency in orthopedic surgery at the University of Iowa. After residency, I was selected to undergo subspecialty training and completed both a Sports Medicine fellowship and a Foot and Ankle fellowship at the No. 1 ranked orthopedic hospital in the nation, the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York, N.Y. Having trained under many leading experts in orthopedic surgery and serving as a team physician for numerous professional franchises during fellowship, I bring experience providing optimal medical care for professional, collegiate and student athletes. I’ve also had the opportunity to author numerous peer-reviewed articles in leading scientific journals and have presented research both nationally and internationally at orthopedic conferences and meetings. I am excited to practice in the Midwest and am looking forward to exploring all Northeast Wisconsin has to offer with my wife and son."
