Prevea welcomes breast surgeon, Dr. Kai Huang

Green Bay  Prevea Health is pleased to welcome Kai Huang, MD, a breast surgeon now caring for patients in Green Bay.

Dr. Huang specializes in breast surgery for benign or malignant breast diseases, including lumpectomy, hidden scar surgery, both nipple sparing and skin sparing mastectomies, aesthetic flat closure, and bedside ultrasound.

“I am committed to helping my patients understand that breast cancer is a curable and treatable disease,” says Dr. Huang. “Working together, we will make a joint decision based on their individual cancer and needs, providing not only good oncologic outcome but also cosmetic outcome to help them get back to their normal life.”

Dr. Huang earned his medical degree from the Fudan University Shanghai Medical College in China and completed a surgical oncology residency there. He completed general surgery residencies at Jackson Memorial Hospital at the University of Miami, and HCA Florida Brandon Hospital through the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine. He is affiliated with the American Society of Breast Surgeons, Society of Surgical Oncologists, Society of Asian Academic Surgeons and the American College of Surgeons.

Dr. Huang sees patients at Prevea Allouez Health Center, 1821 S. Webster Ave., and performs surgery at HSHS St. Mary’s Hospital Medical Center in Green Bay. Appointments can be scheduled by calling (920) 272-3350.
