I believe patient care is a job shared by the physician and the patient. The physician's job is to provide education on the condition and available treatment options as well as respecting the patient's autonomy to decide what they want. The patient's role is very crucial in following lifestyle modifications, medication adherence and abstinence from risk behaviors that can dramatically affect their health. I treat each patient with respect, and together we will work to create a plan that addresses all questions and concerns regarding their condition."
