Give Time. Give Money. Give Both
The Prevea Circle of Giving provides several opportunities for employees and physicians to help co-workers in need and to give back to the communities in which they live and work. At Prevea Health, we care.
Our care extends to not only our patients, but to our friends, neighbors and co-workers. Perhaps it’s mentoring a child going through a tough time or assisting an elderly person with a meal. Giving time, giving money or giving both makes a difference.
The Circle of Giving includes five components:
The Dollars for Doers program recognizes Prevea employees and physicians who volunteer with not-for-profit agencies. When a staff member donates 12 hours of time to a tax-exempt organization, Prevea donates $100 to that organization in the employee’s name; and when a group of employees and/or physicians donate 20 hours, Prevea donates $100 to the organization in their names.
Circle of Giving Grant assists Prevea employees, physicians, and local organizations in the process of requesting monetary donations for projects that are consistent with Prevea Health's mission, values and strategic objectives. Submit grant requests under "Request for Sponsorship".
The Prevea Family Fund assists Prevea employees during times of hardship brought on by illness, injury, loss of employment or similar circumstances. This financial assistance is distributed through the Human Resourced Department, and employees may donate to this fund at any time during the year.
The United Way is a national network of nearly 1,300 local organizations that work to advance the common good by focusing on education, income and health. Local organizations hold annual fund-raising campaigns each fall.
Casual for a Cause and Recognition Days The Circle of Giving has selected various benefitting organizations each year. The money will be distributed evenly to all beneficiaries throughout the year.
